Our history
SCR has a long history of helping clients to place insurance policies that protect their people. We began focusing on Latin America, specialising in Latin American kidnap for ransom policies. This grew quickly and became a global team offering a range of people risk insurance products that continues to grow even today.
The team saw many changes over the next 35 years, but perhaps most significantly in 2012, partly in response to the support capacity required following the Arab Spring, the team made the decision to develop an in-house client service offering 24/7 crisis support and security risk consulting and training. This new team was called Alert:24.
